I replaced my knee to honour my mother – Stonebwoy

Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has revealed that he decided to undergo the knee surgery to honour his late mother.

“This is a great news and for me this is for my mother, I did this for my mother and if she were here she would say I am stubborn because I know that I wouldn’t have told her before I got to Germany,” Stonebwoy told host of Starr Drive Anita Erskine Tuesday.

The ‘Go Higher’ hitmaker was involved in a fatal accident several years ago which led to the death of his twin brother and him limping.

Stonebwoy born Livingstone Etse Satekla said he will start walking normally in a few months after the successful surgery.

The 28-year-old added that he is still undergoing physiotherapy through severe pains but hope all would go away in few months.

According to him, the decision to change his entire knee would not change anything about him but will rather urge him on to give out his best anytime he performs.

“Definitely everything would be well, I am ok, at least my mum would be happy in her grave,” Stonebwoy added.
