Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah has joined the bandwagon subjecting an aspiring flagbearer to public ridicule.
According to him, George Boateng who claims to be the youth organizer of the party at Oyarifa Presby school branch in the Greater Accra region is suffering from “multiple personality disorder”.
“The man is not a true NDC man because no sane party member will challenge a president who has done a lot for Ghana” he said on Adom FM Tuesday.
Ever since Mr. Boateng thwarted the effort by the NDC leadership to make President Mahama go unopposed, his mental status has been questioned by many including the General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia.
The 45-year-old polling station executive who has accused President Mahama of failing to improve the lives of electorate said he is the saviour of Ghana.
But Solomon Nkansah maintained that the utterances and demeanour of the presidential hopeful is enough to conclude that he is “insane”.
He said the only difference between George Boateng and the man who tried assassinating President Mahama is that he [George] is using his mouth to destroy the president. “No man in his right senses will contest a man who has done a lot for Ghana. George Boateng is a joke” he stressed.
The NDC Director of Communications expressed shock at the extent of publicity the media has given to “a mentally disable person”.
Solomon Nkansah vowed to protect the integrity of the NDC by ensuring that George Boateng does not get the chance to contest President Mahama.
