Gays And Lesbians Will Be killed By Firing Squad During My Regime...

An aspiring Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) George Boateng has said during his regime, punishment for persons found to have indulged in lesbianism, homosexuality and corruption will be death by firing squad.

According to him, as democratic as his administration will be, he is of the strong conviction that this measure though may be harsh, is the most effective way of dealing with these reprehensible social cankers.

George Boateng, an NDC branch organizer at Oyarifa in the Madina constituency has vowed to unseat President John Mahama in the party’s upcoming Presidential primaries in November.

In pursuance of his ambition he picked his nomination form at the NDC National Headquaters on Monday.

In an interview on Kasapa FM, Mr George Boateng bemoaned the high spate of indiscipline and corruption that has engulfed the country, adding that it is about time such acts are reduced to the barest minimum if not entirely eradicated.

“There is too much indiscipline in Ghana, under my presidency when a corrupt person, gay or lesbian are arrested the law will make it possible for the courts to sentence the offender to death by firing squad. It will be a public event to be witnessed by all to serve as a deterrent. There must be a house cleaning exercise to clear all such terrible acts from the society”.

He noted that as a staunch supporter of the June 4 revolution that happened to clear indiscipline in Ghana, it would be incumbent on him to ensure that corruption does not thrive in the country during his tenure of office.

Mr George Boateng has hinted that he is preparing feverishly for the launch of his campaign in either Tamale or Sunyani on date yet to be fixed.

Some political watchers are not taking Mr Boateng seriously on his political ambition, with some describing him as one of the biggest jokes in recent times.

General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah who had banter with George Boateng in the media urged the latter to seek psychiatric treatment, as he needs treatment.
