Coca-Cola Workers Accidentally Find a Huge Shipment of Cocaine

Workers at a Coca-Cola Factory in southern France found the wrong kind of coke in a recent shipping container from Costa Rica.
The workers thought they were opening a container of orange juice, but they were surprised to find about 370 kilograms of cocaine in bags, according to the Associated Press.

“The first elements of the investigation have shown that employees are in no way involved,” Coca-Cola’s regional president told a local news website, according to the BBC.
The news network added that the street value price of the drug is about 55 million euros, or $61 million.
The Coca-Cola factory where the drug was found is in the small French village of Signs, where concentrates for various drinks are produced. A spokesman for Coca-Cola France told the AP that employees immediately notified police and judicial authorities have opened an investigation “into trafficking and importing illegal drugs.”
