Awake Purified Drinking Water donates to Cardio Center

Awake Purified Drinking Water has launched a charitable initiative aimed at donating to the National Cardiothoracic Center (NCC) – Korle-Bu – to enable the center treat people with heart conditions effectively.

With a campaign dubbed one4life, each bottle consumers drink, a portion of the profit goes to the NCC. It means for the 1.5lt and 500ml bottles 2p and 1p respectively goes to the Centre.

The brand team with an initial donation of 20,000 ghc made in early February this year, pledged to make quarterly donations based on total sales in the quarter.

The Managing Director of Kasapreko Company Limited (KCL) Richard Adjei commended the center for the good job they are doing to give persons with heart conditions a second chance to life.

On her part, the Director of Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) Mrs. Eunice Bonsu was excited at the sum donation of 36,000 ghc that was presented to the Center. She exclaimed that the next quarter donation will far exceed this particular one and edged Ghanaians to patronize the brand more and help achieve this worthy cause.

The Marketing Manager of the brand Ike Marvin Mends stressed on the fact that the one 4 life campaign is to save a life as water is life and hope other corporate bodies will emulate same to help save lives.
