Incumbent Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region, Nana Toku could not stand the shock of the abrupt end to his political career after losing the position to his rival, Michael Aidoo popularly known as Big Aidoo.

The party held its regional Congress on Wednesday at Bogoso in the Western Region.
Nana Toku after realizing he got only 126 votes while his main contender polled 133 votes, ordered for a recount but the figure remained unchanged.
Nana Toku who completely lost focus, started sweating profusely and in the process lost his feet to a nearby police officer who grabbed him from his side.
The situation quickly attracted the attention of onlookers.
While some supporters called for water, others brought chairs so he could sit down.
After recovering from the shock, Nana Toku hugged Aidoo to congratulate him for emerging the new Chairman of the party in the Region.
Nana Toku has been the Western Regional Chairman for the NDC for eight (8) years.
He had earlier expressed optimism of wining 60% of the vote and had accused his contender of playing cheap politics.
