We Expect To See More Executives Suspended- Afoko’s Supporters Roar

Even before the suspended National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party comes out to comment on the punishment meted out to him by the party’s Disciplinary Committee (DC), his loyal followers have leapfrogged him and accepted the decision in good faith.

They have issued a statement to that effect and mentioned that they are patiently waiting to see the DC fire more executives soon. An account of their release has been published below:

WE ACCEPT THE DECISION OF THE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE TO SUSPEND MR. PAUL AFOKO, BUT...


We wish to state it clearly that as law abiding supporters of Mr. Paul Afoko, we accept the decision of the Disciplinary committee and the NEC to suspend the National Chairman of our party.

We believe it's just a matter of time for him to be reinstated But, we also want to urge the Disciplinary Committee to also act on further disciplinary actions on all national officers who equally deserve to be suspended. We wouldn't want to mention names.

We believe everybody in the NPP know personalities behind the embezzlement of our party funds. As a matter of fact, our Disciplinary Committee should move a step further in naming other executives who deserve to be suspended just as Mr. Afoko.

If this happens, we would consider Mr. Afoko's suspension as fair, but if not, then we would be forced to think otherwise. In this terrible moment, we wish to assure Mr. Afoko that he has our support and we believe this suspension would only hold for a short time.

We furtherask him to remain calm as he has always been and we know the NEC and the DC would reinstate him at the appropriate time.
