Samuel Osei Kuffour has met with some top guns of Kumasi based Asante Kotoko in a bid to form a solid team which can also support the club financially when he is officially unveiled as the President of the club, information reaching source indicate.
The ex-Black Stars and Bayern Munich rear-guard met up with Alhaji Lamin, Nana Boakye, Champion, Charles Dwamena and Mr. Kwarteng who have all agreed to pay $200,000 each as seed money for the new administration to run effectively.
Owner and Life patron of the club, Otumfour Osei Tutu II will meet current board chairman Paul Adu Gyamfi today and subsequently have a closed door meeting with Kuffour and his new team on Saturday.
Meanwhile, former communications director of the club, Kwame Baah Nuako has rejected an offer from Kuffour to be part of his team apparently due to his new role at Royal Bank.
The set team is set to hit the ground running when Kuffour is officially handed the job by Manhyia.
