Mahama on a seven-day leave

President John Mahama has taken a seven-day leave, a statement from the seat of government - Flagstaff House - said.

According to the statement, the president will, however, during the leave period honour some pre-scheduled bilateral engagements.

The President will resume work on August 03, 2015.

The last time the President took a break from work was in December 2013.
