Security man kills househelp over sex

A private security guard has allegedly murdered a househelp because the deceased spurned his sexual advances.

The 25-year-old security man, identified as Adam Rahman is currently on the run, Airport Police Commander Chief Superintendent Yao Tettegah confirmed to Joy News’ Fred Smith.
Ironically, Rahman committed the heinous crime in an apartment at the Airport residential area where he was dispatched to protect property and lives.

Chief Supt. Tettegah said the suspect inflicted multiple knife wounds on his victim, Fatia Seidu in a boy’s quarters last night. Rahman then dragged her body to hide her in between cars in the house, and bolted.

The lifeless body of the 25-year-old househelp was discovered in a pool of blood by one Alhassan Suleimana, a houseboy in the household, Thursday morning and a report made to the police.

According to Chief Supt. Yao Tettegah, the deceased had recently accused the suspect of harassing her and trying to have sex with her. This, he said, led to "bad blood" between the two. This is believed might have led to the murder of Fatia.
