Kwesi Pratt condemns sexual assault on YFM Presenter

Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has condemned the barbaric act on the female Presenter of YFM, Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka popularly known as Miss Ada who was  kidnapped and raped last week by three unknown men.
According to Kwesi Pratt, the ordeal of the ‘Y lounge’ presenter in the Western Regional capital, Takoradi was a clear case of torture which no human being must be made to endure.
Speaking on Peace FM's Kokroko Morning Show, he stated that, the situation was gravely disturbing, frightening and must be condemned in no uncertain terms.
Mr Pratt said “I cannot believe this is going on in Ghana. This is a clear case of torture…I am frightened to the core.”

He, however, charged the police administration to investigate the issue and punish the perpetrators of the crime which he said could mar the life of the young lady forever.
Police in the Western Region rescued the Takoradi-based radio presenter, who was kidnapped and assaulted sexually by her captors.
The Nigerian radio presenter resident in Ghana,Adaese Oda Onyinyechi, known in radio as Princess Ada,  is currently receiving treatment at the Ghapoha Hospital in Takoradi.
News of her kidnap broke on Monday when her captors hijacked her Facebook account and posted nude pictures of her.
A presenter with Radio Maxx ‘Feeling Daddy’ who was at the hospital told Starr FM that  “she is in a good condition but sleeping.”
“I didn’t see any serious bruises on her… the only difference I saw on her is that her dreadlocks have been taken off.”

The General Manager of YFM in Takoradi, Franklin Siatey also confirmed her release. “I can say on authority that she has been found. She is currently being treated at the hospital. I’ve not seen her but I’ll be there.”
