Muntari’s $900K Truck Causes A Stir

Sulley Muntari’s newest love may not have received the expected welcome in Italy as football fans have taken a dig at the AC Milan midfielder’s latest automobile acquisition.

Pictures of the Ghanaian player standing by a new Mercedes-Benz Brabus G63 AMG 6×6 recently, surprisingly sparked off angry reaction on social media, especially after the monster truck was said to be worth about $900,000.

Depending on its specs, other quotes for the six-wheeler are between $525,000 and $700,000.

An interactive radio show, Stereo Serie A Radio, used their Twitter page to express their view after the player was seen driving the luxury truck around Milan. Curiously, their fans also expressed dissatisfaction with Muntari’s show of opulence.

Radio[@StereoSerieA

tweeted: Milan are in shambles and Sulley Muntari outfitting his car collection! #ACMilan.

A fan, @CreepN, tweeted: @StereoSerieA it ain't nothin for Sulley he made that in half a season on the bench.

@sportscaddy: limited skill and desire,No significant medals, previous club went into administration =typical modern footballer.

Beyond his love for garish speed machines, Muntari owns a luxury garage in Milan that ‘pimps’ exotic automobiles of celebrities and often receive visits by friends and Ghanaian teammates, including Michael Essien, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Mario Balotelli and Mubarak Wakaso, among others.

On the garage’s website is a picture of Muntari and Wakaso standing by the monster truck during a visit to the workshop by the Glasgow Celtic midfielder.
