President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle on Thursday afternoon met with Chicago's Jackie Robinson West little league baseball team, their coaches, manager and Little League officials to congratulate them on their success in the Little League World Series.

"Say cheese," Obama said while the team was getting ready for the group photo in the Oval Office. After that he said with a smile as photographers recorded the scene, "baseball."

The team members wore their mustard-colored team "Great Lakes Region" jersies, baseball caps, red ties, white shirt and black pants.

The team arrived in Washington on Wednesday for a visit and the invitation from the Obamas' to stop at the White House is part of the trip. The invite to the White House was first reported by Sun-Times columnist Mike Sneed.
