Traffic and nowhere to park is the daily reality for Los Angeles drivers.
So, it was no wonder Arnold Schwarzenegger was in such a great mood on Tuesday in Brentwood, California, after he somehow managed to find a space big enough to accommodate his giant Hummer.
The now rare vehicle needed two normal car spots but the 67-year-old star was able to find that. The Terminator's joy was obvious as he walked to his lunch, with the muscle-bound actor smiling away to himself.
Standing further testament to his good mood, the Expendables star even happily signed autographs for waiting professional autograph hunters with his picture at the ready.
Clearly dressing with Veterans Day in mind, Arnold stepped out in a camouflage green T-shirt with the American flag on front under a varsity jacket, which he wore with shorts.
The giant Hummer is one of the former California Governor's favourite cars, as he spent a lot of time and effort making the vehicle - which is renowned for its gas guzzling ways - green.
Unlike a standard issue Hummer, Arnie's is hydrogen powered, running on converted vegetable oil.
The process to change the car into a more environmentally friendly model did not come cheap, costing up to $21,000.
But, the again, when it comes to cars, for the superstar money is not object.
Quite the car collector, it is a case of another day, another impressiveness ride for Arnold.
On Monday, it was the 67-year-old's Bugatti Veyron that was his car of choice.
Bugatti's have a starting price of $2.25 million, so the sleek silver sports car makes the conversion cost of the Hummer seem like spare change.
The convertible Grand Sport Vitesse is the fastest convertible on the planet and cost closer to $2.7 million.
When he feels like something a little less flashy he also has a Bentley, Ferrari 360 Spider, a Porsche 911 Turbo, a Dodge Challenger, a Mercedes SLS and a fully resorted military truck or his the Mercedes-Benz Unimog at his disposal.
