President Mahama arrives in Berlin; set to address Investment Forum on Tuesday

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Berlin for a State Visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. He will on Monday hold discussions with Federal President, Joachim Gauck, and the German Chancellor, Dr. Angela Merkel. He will also address an Investment Forum on Tuesday and meet with other German officials, institutions and businesses.

Suspected IPOB members, others declared wanted

The Nigeria Police Force is currently searching for several suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who have been declared wanted. Among those named are Samuel Eke, Sylvester Nnabuife, Jude Eziagu, Azubuike Ofodil, Nnadozie Agu, Pastor Mercy Ezeh, and Rosemary Odiase, among others. Rosemary Odiase, in particular, has been officially declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force and other law enforcement agencies. Being a member of, or actively participating in, a terrorist group is a criminal offense under the Nigerian Constitution, and those convicted can face up to 21 years in prison. The police urge the public to report any sightings of these individuals to the nearest police station. These suspects remain a threat to society due to their involvement in terrorist activities.

Ghana Risks Re occurrence Of June 3 If...

The collection and disposal of waste, particularly solid waste, must improve if a reoccurrence of the June 3, 2015 disaster is to be avoided, the Executive Secretary to the Environmental Services Providers Association, (ESPA), Ms Ama Ofori-Antwi, has said. Speaking at a meeting with the Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah, and other executive members of association, Ms Ofori-Antwi stated that "if nothing is done to help us improve on waste management, particularly in Accra, the June 3, 2015, disaster might reoccur."
