Ex-Prez Kufuor Represents UN Secretary-General...


Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has represented the UN Secretary-General, Mr Ban Ki-Moon, at a meeting of Small Island Developing States (SIDS) at the ongoing summit on Climate Change in Paris, France.

Delivered Mr Ban’s speech in his capacity as UN Special Envoy on Climate Change. Mr Kufuor said Small Island Developing States were among those countries that had contributed least to climate change, yet were among the most vulnerable to its impacts.

PETITION: Zanetor Rawlings Not A Registered Voter...& Must Be Disqualified!


Four members of the Klottey Korley Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have petitioned the party to disqualify Dr Zanetor Rawlings as the winner of the just-ended parliamentary primary of the constituency.

According to the petitioners, Dr Zanetor did not qualify to contest the primary because she was not a registered voter.

The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is reviewing the suspension of two of its newly elected parliamentary nominees, Nii Amasah Namoale and Sam George, the party’s Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho has revealed.

Dr. Nkrumah's Son To Contest CPP Flagbearership


Dr Onsy Nathan Kwame Nkrumah, a Pan Africanist, has declared his intention to contest the position of flag bearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP).

His success at the CPP’s presidential primaries scheduled for next year will enable him to fulfil the desires of a considerable number of Ghanaians of diverse political affiliation, he told the Daily Graphic.
